Description of the Pattern Migrator Tool

The Pattern Migrator tool is divided into a Pattern Exporter and Pattern Importer tabs. The Pattern Importer tab enables you to generate the keys you will need to perform the pattern transfer and to import the file containing the pattern. The Pattern Exporter tab enables you to select the size and number of pages of pattern and to export the file containing the pattern so it can be imported.

Overview of the Pattern Migration Process

The migration consists of six major steps:

Pattern Import Computer:

1. Generates Transfer Key Used for Importing and Exporting Pattern
2. Provides Key to Pattern Source Computer

3. Selects the Size of and Number of Pages Needed
4. Enters the Transfer Key and the Verification Key (optional) Generated by the Pattern Import Computer
5. Creates Export File

6. The file with pattern is imported to the pattern import computer
