Dr. Philip R. Cohen, Chief Executive Officer
Cohen founded Adapx. During the past 30 years, Cohen has
pioneered research in multimodal interaction, multi-agent systems, and
human-computer dialogue. He is a Fellow of the American Association for
Artificial Intelligence, and was President of the Association for
Computational Linguistics. He has co-authored more than 100 papers, and
recently received one of the two inaguaral Influential Paper Award by
the International Foundation for Autonomous Agents and Multi-agent
Systems. Cohen graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor’s
degree in mathematics. He later received his M.S. and PhD in computer
science at the University of Toronto.
