First responders, like rescue workers and police, often work against the clock and incredible odds to save lives. But after the situation is under control, the paperwork starts. Penx will let you quickly fill-out paper report forms in environments that would make it difficult to deal with PDAs and laptop computers.
Workers can enter hazardous environments to make notes or mark-up maps on paper embedded with the Anoto pattern. Even if the paper is damaged the worker can continue writing; if the paper is destroyed, the data is still intact in the Penx and can be uploaded and integrated into the original computer notebook, map, or drawing.
Because reports and notes are in digital form, the information can immediately be made available to doctors, lawyers, and law enforcement personnel. During major emergencies, Bluetooth Technology and mobile phones can be deployed to send written information, sketches, and maps in real time to command teams.
