Adapx Profile:
Adapx™ is a natural interface software company which helps teams improve collaboration, field data collection and decision making with the Capturx™ line of software products.
Capturx enables designs, maps and forms to be printed on ordinary paper and marked up with a digital pen, which digitizes the handwriting and integrates the data directly into Microsoft™ Office and leading GIS and CAD systems. Teams can collect and share information more quickly and accurately, and reach better decisions, without consuming valuable time and resources to collect and process data.
Adapx partners with leading technology companies to create integrated solutions which work naturally with existing software and business processes.
Patented software from Adapx turns digital pen and paper technology into an extension of your desktop. Capturx software integrates with Office, CAD and GIS systems to enable their software features and file properties to be represented on paper. The digital pen can now work like a computer mouse on printed map, designs, and forms.
By simply “checking” an icon on a printed legend, your ink strokes on maps can turn into pipelines, roads, or other GIS features. Comments written on printed designs turn into digital CAD redlines with editable text. Handwritten notes in paper notebooks are available in Microsoft Office as digital text, searchable and ready to be shared in email or Word.
When the pen is docked, Capturx integrates all the information from the pen into the native Office, GIS, and CAD applications and file formats. There is no new complex software to learn or intermediate file formats to manage.
Capturx works the way teams do – digital data, printed and marked up with pens. Only Capturx keeps it all digital with smart markups automatically integrated back into the digital sources.
