Dr. Philip R. Cohen, Executive VP of Research

The founder of Adapx, Dr. Philip Cohen has spent the last 30 years pioneering research in multimodal interaction, multi-agent systems, and human-computer dialogue.
He is a Fellow of the American Association for Artificial Intelligence, and was the president of the Association for Computational Linguistics. He has also co-authored more than 100 papers, and recently received one of the two inaugural Influential Paper Award by the International Foundation for Autonomous Agents and Multi-agent Systems. Philip graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. He later received his M.S. and Ph.D. in computer science at the University of Toronto.
