Welcome to Capturx for Microsoft Office OneNote software! Written for customers and partners, this document addresses issues that are not discussed in the User Guide. This document may be updated periodically as more information becomes available.

New Enhancements in Capturx for Microsoft Office OneNote 2.3
Version 2.3 includes important updates for OneNote users. Please see below for highlights:

• New Support for Windows 8 and Office 2013
• Thinner Digital Ink: The image of digital pen handwriting will be thinner when viewed in OneNote.
• Easier to Find Printing Menu: Capturx Printing is now found in the same location as the standard OneNote printing options.
• Maintenance Updates:  improvements in the areas of later handwriting on previously-used notebook pages and scenarios where users both download ink from a docked pen and from clicking an XID file.

Capturx for Microsoft OneNote Requirements
Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7 SP1 (32-bit or 64 -bit), or Windows 8 (32-bit or 64-bit)
Microsoft Office OneNote 2010 (32-bit or 64-bit) or 2013 (32-bit or 64-bit)

Supported Versions of Capturx Pen Manager
Adapx recommends that all customers and partners on supported systems update to the most recent version of Capturx Pen Manager. Ensure that you have the latest version installed by opening Capturx Pen Manager and looking in the bottom right-hand corner.

Capturx for Microsoft Office OneNote 2.3 is compatible with the Capturx Pen Manager 3.4 (or later). Earlier versions of the client applications are not supported.

Known Issues

Adding Notes to Two Different Notebooks: Capturx for OneNote requires that you download the digital ink between writing on different notebooks of the same size (8.5 x11, 5x7).

Invalid Characters in a Notebook Title: The following characters cannot be used in the Notebook Title written on the title page:   \ / : * ? " < > |

Printing 200-Page Notebook Requires Multiple Print Jobs: Capturx can only print a subset of a OneNote notebook at a single time. To print a 200-page notebook, run multiple print jobs (20-50 pages at a time – number varies per  printer).
